www.speakaboos.com

This is a new site I learned about in D.C. a few summers ago.  The creators are asking "famous" people to read-aloud childrens' classics and Fairy Tales, then adding technology to them. Some of them are really cute. Become a member, its free!

IXL.com

IXL is an online Math practice site where I can track the students' time on the website, the correct percentage of the students practice session.

The Starfall Method promises to improve reading acquisition by using the Internet to help make it fun for the children and easy for the educators.   The online program was put together by a talented team of artists, teachers, and computer animators.

www.roythezebra.com

The site is home to a package of interactive games, stories and resources that have been developed to help emerging readers learn to read.  Fun Interactive Reading Games that can be used on your interactive whiteboard or computers. The games focus on all aspects of teaching early literacy.

www.harcourtschool.com

Harcourt has a variety of games that can be used in conjunction with the academic programs being used in the classroom.

Ask your teacher for more information!

www.rockandrollkindergarten.com

Rock and Roll Kindergarten is the site of a fellow kindergarten teacher.  This teacher resides in California and inspired me to give web hosting a try.  His site is much more complex and much more exciting than mine with some great resources for teachers.

www.nurseryrhymes4u.com

We are focusing on Nursery Rhymes in our guided reading times, and the students practice reading the rhymes when they "Read the Room".  This is an additional opportunity for your child to interact with the rhymes.
